Let's cut to the chase. The celestial designs come courtesy of a spoon-not torturous slicing and dicing. Spray -paint the rind a matte black (or white) and let dry. Use a spoon handle to scratch away paint to create stars, moons, and spirals. Tops can be cut off to make vases for blooms.

My two
nieces, Sydney and
Kylee, joined Lindsey between Conference sessions to make their black magic pumpkins.

The six cousin-friends slept over, staying up long into the night for games and some good Rock Band.

Cute Pumpkins!!!
Is anyone EVER bored when they come to the compound? I think not. Thanks for showing the kids such a fun time-
What a fun way to spend the in-between time.
I gotta get me some pumpkins!
Dinner was 5-star but the conversation topped the charts. I think perhpas Adam was caught off guard on the "Teach Me Something" segment of dinner...where we go around the table and share some unique piece of information to benefit the group. Adam & Sydney did fine in their debut performance with their subject mastery of the Portugese language and Humanity need for reinforcement respectively. It's always a pleasure to have the energy of youth in our home and the osmosis effect it has on Annie & I.
