| For the last five years we have started our year off in Mesa at our lovely WINTER QUARTERS. Stacey came to celebrate her birthday and run a marathon. Sara flew in at the same time. These girls really enjoy each other. |
The girls fixed most of the meals. Whoops. Who was on vacation, here?
Believe me, I am not one of those who think Stacey and Sara look like twins. But, trust me, many others do. It is getting rather out of hand! Come on though. IDENTICAL TWINS. Please. Sara is four years younger for petesake!!

| Stacey qualified for the Boston marathon by coming in under 3:45. It was fun for us, including Paul and DeNae, to cheer her on! She made Sara and I verclempt because she was so teary herself. This was her 9th marathon and the second time to qualify for Boston. She plans to do Boston in April and then retire......SURE! |
Sidney Madsen served us a delicious lunch of homemade pita sandwiches and mini desserts. The girls enjoyed visiting with their old friend, Natalie, and meeting the charming Rissa.

I don't see the twin thing so much in them either. At least they are Sisters. My son James' wife Jen and my daughter Stacey look so much alike that even people in our ward who have known Stacey her whole life will have a conversation with Jen and think she is Stacey. Jen sent her Mother a picture of Auntie Stacey and her daughter Ella and her Mom told her what a cute picture it was of Jen and Ella. Thats bad. Actually kind of sick.

I am soooo happy for Stacey! She reached her goal!!! What a woman! Simply amazing. I really hope she can come out for the Boston in April! It will be another mini reunion :)
So much fun! We are so lucky the weather was so nice. Like June-uary someone said. I could only want for a women's conference like we had before, a century ride with Trace, a project at the paper store and lunch at Costa Vida...maybe models will be back to their old ways by then too with P and D, cards and pool at Mary's, walk in Las Sienas, night hike, Usery sunrise hike, swap meet and shopping, visits to friendly cove and running along the canals...so looks like I'll be needing another 5 nights at least to squeeze all that in.
I'm not seeing the twin look either...sisters yes...twins not so much. Beautiful women just he same. Looks like you had a great time! I love winter/summer outings and just going to a new environment. So much to do, so little time. Glad you enjoyed it.
That visit looks soooooo fun! I would be jealous if I didn't have my own visit coming up here soon. I think it would be so fun to have a sisters weekend there next year. However, I do like having you and dad to myself. I'm with you on the twin thing, I don't even think they look alike! They do have the same mannerisms and they talk the same and have the same voice. I think Sydney's beautiful girls look like they could be twins, but I bet if I knew them better I would see the differences. I'm counting down the days until we come! This will be the best visit yet!

thanks for the game the REAL twins(Lincoln & Noah) loved it.I know that twin thing can be so annoying everyone is always asking if Pamela Anderson and I are twins, gosh my hair isn't even that long.
I wish I was still there!! I love coming there so much & just being able to relax. I wish I could come 2 times while you are there...once alone, and once w/ the boys!
Stace is the woman. I'm so impressed with her. I'm glad you had so much fun with "the twins" I wonder if they get the question more than Ky and Jessie do. They got it about 5 times on the cruise.
