Desert Oasis

Part 2 of our adventures with the Petersen boys: Sara and Cody returned from Mexico and we had to eat at I-Hop yet again because the fridge and cupboards were bare. We left for Utah in a caravan the next day.
The boys demonstrated to their parentals how to play our favorite new game.
We went on a night Easter egg hunt with flashlights and counted 87 cottontails because we were near the desert!

DeNae helped the boys color eggs for the 'egg bashing' contest.
Paul and Trace took Caleb fishing on a float trip down the Salt River. Too bad they forgot the fishing gear! But they had so much fun anyway. Caleb and Jaken's funnest event is fishing. They ice fish all winter with their dad and Grandpa Petersen.

Caleb really enjoyed the Easter Pageant at the Mesa Temple grounds.

The boys and I had many a breakfast at I-Hop since it is only 2 blocks from our house.

Swimming was enjoyed at my Mom's trailer park heated pool.

Those are some lucky boys. That's all the vacation they need for the whole year, right?
