Two Rivers Run Through It

This is what you see on a hike in the Columbia Gorge....ferns and more ferns. Trace and I hiked to the three falls on the Oneonta Trail in the Gorge outside of Portland.

This is what you will see strolling on the Riverplace Esplanade.

This is one of the refurbished buildings in the Pearl District and the following one is our favorite restaurant in the Pearl: Paragon.
Enjoying some delicious bread sticks from Hot Lips Pizza.

The Portland Center Apartments where we lived on the 25th floor for 6 glorious months in 1996.

Simply one of the best cities anywhere. Minus the liberals, funky street people, huge gay population...now where was I? Yes. A fun and vibrant place to call home.

I want to go there someday. Looks so fun. I feel like a slug when I come to your blog. I can't even fathom moving that many times and then decorating them. whoa

The picture you took of that building was right next to Wade's office. I wanted to go into that pottery place with my kids, but never had the nerve to show up with three little ones in tow.

I am definitely missing how close we were to such an amazing city.

Hmmm, I think we'll go on a date night downtown this weekend. Lovely time of year. Too bad none of you Utahans can join us.
