I'm tired. Really really tired. I'm not complaining. I'm just saying. I
love to do yard work. For the last ten years it has been the focus of my spring, summer and fall. And the fun is not over just because we moved. Far from it. Now we get to garden two properties. Lucky us. Today we went to Liberty to start getting that yard looking good. I trimmed 16 rose bushes, raked, weeded, cleaned the bunkhouse, and helped Trace load heavy flagstones into the truck which we are relocating to Paradise. This was just the first truck load of many to come.
The sod came for our new yard last week. It filled a semi. Thank goodness we hired that job out! We have started to plant bushes, trees and perennials. Tomorrow we have a crew coming to help place bark and work on the barn. I'm off to the hot tub:)

Your new place is coming together so nice. (Remind me why you went back to comments?)
It's gonna be beautiful! We were in the yard all day today as well. I love to be outside too. It must have something to do with our roots. Hang in there, it will be worth it!
The view of this place looks so ginormous! Is it this big in person? I mean the tractor looks so tiny out there!
I've decided I don't love to do yard work. . . I appreciate it, and do it anyway, but I'd rather not do the initial work in the spring. I don't really even want to plant any flowers this year. I'm happy for you though, and really love enjoying the fruits of your labor!
I got tired just reading about all the things you did! You two are true hard workers indeed.
