We traveled to southern Oregon to meet the Lakes, on their way to Utah, for a mini Skeen reunion. We went to church together, ate wonderful food, had a Mormon Battalion presentation from Trace and then went to Lake Owyhee for boating. It was so great to see relatives we haven't seen for years. My favorite adventure was having three little children sleep in our room one night. We had treats, danced, stood on a chair and gave a presentation about ourselves....Trace did a 'hulk' impersonation that almost had them peeing their pants and then we turned off all the lights and he had them SCREAMING over the scary bear story he told. Good stuff!
My sister-in-law is battling breast cancer and we admire her dignity and humor through this trial.
The Lakes drove to Logan after the reunion to visit aunts, cousins and sisters. We gathered one night with the local Griffins for dinner and games at a park. Jamie prepared another wonderful Survivor game.
The favorite Survivor challenge involved eating different foods in a timed event. Some were tasty and some were NOT!

That Jamie sounds like quite the even planner. Should she try to go professional?
Jamie should go professional- she's so creative, and she demands everyone's attention! That party at Von's park was so much fun. We loved having the Lakes stay with us as we do every year. We love to get together with your family.
