Spring Break in Washington

My oldest granddaughter, Rachel, drove with me to Vancouver to visit the Lakes' for a week. A good time was had by all. My sister, Janet, flew in on Friday and drove home with us on Sunday. I haven't had that much bonding with her since I don't know when....and I loved it. Also it was great to spend so much time with Rachel. I used to take her with me to Utah when we lived in Portland, and now I was taking her to Portland while we live in Utah. She was fought over by the Lake kinder and enjoyed the tramp, playing cards, tending Brody, shopping in Portland with Janet, Griffin and me, and eating at Gustovs. I was able to go to Camdyn's soccer game, help Stacey teach enrichment, paint and do some cleaning. Stacey saved curtains that needed hemming in hopes that Janet, the super seamstress, could come to her aide, and she did. It was so beautiful there. The lilacs were almost mature, the leaves were out, the grass was GREEN....Todd mowed twice during the 6 days we were there! It was hard to come home. Thanks Stacey, for another divine visit.

Your comments are back!

I miss spring in Portland. I never realized things bloomed before May until I lived there.

Hey where's the picture of you deep cleaning and vacuuming up ladybugs?.... Oh, yeah, that was on my camera. I'll save that for special times. I got the paint colors all picked out. Something new to see next time you come...

Ya what was up with the no comment period? I thought you might be suffering from a insecurity and just couldn't face the remarks.
Sister trips the most fun cause you can really do and be yourself, no trying to please anyone.

I must say about the comments....I didn't stop because of harsh remarks. They were always wonderful! I just needed a rest:)
